This live album stems from a unique concert held on a Scottish spring night at the Netherbow Theatre, Edinburgh, in 2014. The magic of the venue created an ideal opportunity for us to capture the distinctive qualities of our live show, which combines original arrangements of traditional Italian songs with the fascinating stories that surround them. We are mighty proud of this recording, and want to thank all those who have contributed to it – especially our wonderfully responsive audience and the other musicians who played on the night. However, we wish to reserve special thanks for Barry Jackson, our patient and skilled sound recordist and mixer, without whom the project would not have been possible.

Questo album nasce da un concerto molto speciale che si è tenuto in una serata di primavera scozzese al Netherbow Theatre di Edimburgo, nel 2014. La magia del teatro ha creato l’occasione perfetta per catturare le peculiarità dei nostri spettacoli dal vivo, che combinano arrangiamenti originali di canzoni tradizionali italiane con il fascino delle storie che le accompagnano. Siamo davvero fieri di questo album e vogliamo ringraziare tutti coloro che hanno contribuito alla sua realizzazione, in special modo il nostro caloroso pubblico e gli altri musicisti che hanno partecipato alla serata. Tuttavia, il ringraziamento più sentito va a Barry Jackson, il nostro tecnico del suono, per la sua pazienza e competenza. Senza di lui questo progetto non sarebbe stato possibile.
